Pulimurugan will enter the 100 crore club : Producer Tomichan Mulakupadam

Pulimurugan is the talk of the town for sometime now. This action packed entertainer starring Mohanlal is having a tremendous run in the box office. The movie has already rewritten many collection records in Mollywood.

Producer Tomichan Mulakupadam in a recent interview has said that, he believes that Pulimurugan will be the first Malayalam movie to enter the 100 crore club. He also said that the film had great potential to become a big hit and the results are now to be seen.

He also added that he had not only invested heavily on the production of Pulimurugan but also the marketing. Full page advertisements were given in newspapers to publicize the movie and in order to reach maximum people.

Director Vysakh has also said earlier that he did not expect such great response and that he was surprised by the magnitude of the movie’s success.

Pulimurugan has already collected more than 30 crore in the box office, from across the 300-odd centres across the State.

Pulimurugan also proved that technically superior films involving huge production costs were viable in Mollywood also.

Pulimurugan is running to packed theatres in all the centres and the collections are boosted by the Poona holidays, hartal and the weekend that followed.
