Tomichan Mulakupadam the producer of Malayalam cinema’s biggest ever blockbuster Pulimurugan has said that a sequel for the movie is on the cards.

Director Vysakh has given hints about a possible second part of this action blockbuster. For the sequel to materialize, total support of the whole cast and crew of Pulimurugan is necessary. .

Vysakh has said that a second part for the movie is possible only if there is constant support and enthusiasm from the team of Pulimurugan. There has been many speculations about the second part but nothing has been finalized yet. If everything falls in place by the time then a second part for the movie will be made, said Vysakh.

Malayali audience have always supported quality movies. Cinema has changed with the course of time, but still Malayali audience have welcomed new movies with Pulimurugan being the biggest example for that. There is risk involved in any movie but we are bravely taking the step forward said producer Tomichan Mulakupadam.

Pulimurugan was produced with a budget of around 25 crores but the movie has already made a business of over 100 crores. The movie recently became the first film from Malayalam to enter the 100 crore club.
