Pulimurugan completes 75 days in 90 theatres in Kerala

Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan is continuing in glorious run in the theatres with record box office returns. The movie released for Pooja holidays on October 7th has completed 75 days in the theatres.

Pulimurugan is still running successfully in 90 thetares in Kerala. Almost all the shows are still running to packed audience. According to trade sources, this is the first time a Malayalam movie is running with houseful audience even after 75 days of theatrical run.

It has already completed around 35000 shows from its 75 day run in theatres. The movie which became the first Malayalam film to enter the 100 crore club, is now among the top 5 highest grossers in South Indian cinema.

Telugu version of the movie, Mayam Puli was released earlier this month to tremendous response at the box office.  It has been labelled as a super hit by the Telugu media.

Pulimurugan was written by Udhayakrishna and directed by Vysakh. Tomichan Mulakupadam produced the movie under the banner Mulakupadam Films. It is now nearing the magical 100 days mark. The postponement of Christmas releases, will again prove fruitful for the movie collection wise.
