Puthan Panam release date confirmed

It’s been a while since the pack up of Mammootty- Ranjith team’s Puthan Panam. There were unconfirmed reports that the movie will hit screens during the Vishu season in April. Mammootty’s much awaited The Great Father is scheduled to release on March 30, so the Puthan Panam team have postponed the release to May 11.

Mammootty is playing the a rich businessman, Nityananda Shenoy in the movie. A first look poster of the movie was unveiled few days back. Mammootty is seen sporting a salt and pepper look with a thick moustache. The actor will use the Kasargod slang in the movie.

Puthan Panam features Ineya and Sheelu Abraham as the female leads. Siddique, Sai Kumar, Renji Panicker, Mamukoya, Aanandam fame Vishak Nair, Ganapathy, Harish Kanaran, Swaraj, Nirmal Palazhi and many others will be seen in supporting roles.

Popular Kollywood cinematographer Om Prakash who has worked in movies like Maari and Kaashmora is cranking the camera in this movie. Shahabaz Aman is handling the music department.

Puthan Panam is produced by 3 Color Cinemas, a new production company owned by Abraham Mathew (Abam Movies), director Ranjith and actor Arun Narayanan.
