Queen Malayalam remake: Here’s the first look of Manjima’s Zam Zam

As we had reported earlier, Manjima Mohan is playing the lead in the Hindi remake of acclaimed Hindi film, Queen. First look of the Malayalam version, which is titled as Zam Zam, has been released today. Manjima shared the first look on her official social media handle. Along with that, the first look of all the South Indian versions have also been released.

The Tamil version titled as Paris Paris has Kajal Aggarwal playing the lead. Tamannaah Bhatia stars in the Telugu version, That Is Mahalakshmi, and Parul Yadav in the Kannada verison, Butterfly. Ramesh Aravind is directing the Tamil and Kannada versions while the Telugu remake is helmed by Prashanth Varma. The Manjima Mohan starrer Zam Zam is directed by Neelakanta. The movie also stars Sunny Wayne, Baiju and Muthumani in major roles.

Queen, directed by Vikas Bahl, is widely regarded as one of the finest women empowerment movies to be made in Indian cinema. It is the story of a naïve young woman, who sets out on a honeymoon trip alone after being ditched by her fiancee. Kangana Ranaut’s portrayal of Rani in the movie won her accolades from all quarters including a National Award and the Filmfare Award for the Best Actress in a Leading Role.
