Raashi Khanna to enter Mollywood through Mohanlal film

Tollywood actress Raashi Khanna will be making her Malayalam debut through B Unnikrishnan’s upcoming movie with Mohanlal in the lead. The actress will be seen as a police officer in the movie.
Raashi Khanna made her acting debut through the critically acclaimed Bollywood movie Madras Cafe. She played John Abraham’s wife in the movie.

B Unnikrishnan- Mohanlal team’s yet to be titled already has a star studded cast. Popular Kollywood star Vishal is making his Malayalam debut through this movie, playing a very pivotal character. Hansika Motwani and Telugu actor Srikanth will also be seen in prominent characters. Malayali actors Siddique, Aju Varghese and Chemban Vinod Jose are also part of the cast.

The movie is an investigative thriller in which Mohanlal is playing the role of an ex-cop. The actor is currently undergoing Ayurvedic treatment to shed few kilos for playing his part in the movie.

Rockline Venkatesh, who has funded movies like Lingaa and Bhajrangi Bhaijaan is producing this movie. An international company from Poland will be handling the VFX works. Manoj Paramahamsa, known for his works in movies like Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya and Nanban will be the cinematographer. Oppam fame 4 Musics have been roped in to compose music for this investigative thriller.

The movie will go on floors by the end of February in Ernakulam. Munnar and Vagamon are the other major locations.
