Rahman and Dhyan Sreenivasan team up for Omar Lulu’s next

Director Omar Lulu’s new film was launched recently in Ezhupunna. Rahman and Dhyan Sreenivasan are playing the leads in the film, which is touted to be a comedy entertainer. It is scripted by Sarang Jayaprakash, who earlier co-wrote Omar’s films, Oru Adaar Love and Dhamaka.

The upcoming film has Sheelu Abraham and Aradhya Ann as the female leads. Bala, Babu Antony, Bibin George, Anson Paul, Senthil Krishna, Tini Tom, Harishree Ashokan and Mallika Sukumaran also star in it. The film has Alby as the DOP and William Francis as the composer. It is produced Abraham Mathew under the banner of Abaam Movies.

This will be the first time Dhyan and Rahman are acting together. While the former hasn’t been active in Malayalam lately, Dhyan has a slew of projects lined up. His immediate release will be Malayalee From India, in which he stars alongside Nivin Pauly. Ideem Minnalum, Swargathile Katturumbu, Cop Uncle, Ba Ba Ba, and Kudumbasreeyum Kunjadum are some of the projects in his kitty.

Rahman, last seen in Malayalam in the bilingual thriller Samara, also has his maiden web series coming up in the language. Titled 1000+ Babies, it is directed by Najeem Koya and also stars Neena Gupta. August Cinema is producing the series, which will stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
