Rahul Sadasivan – Pranav Mohanlal Film ‘DIES IRAE’: Birthday Special Poster Unveiled

The makers of DIES IRAE, starring Pranav Mohanlal and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, have released a striking birthday special poster featuring the actor. Jointly produced by Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios, the poster was unveiled at midnight on July 13 to mark Pranav Mohanlal’s birthday. This horror thriller is written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan himself. The film is backed by producers Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S. Sashikanth. Following the critical and commercial success of ‘Bramayugam’, DIES IRAE marks the next collaboration between director Rahul Sadasivam and Night Shift Studios.

Earlier, the film’s title and announcement poster were released and went viral across social media platforms, sparking widespread excitement. While the makers have revealed no story details yet, the tagline “The Day of Wrath” — the English translation of ‘Dies Irae’ — hints at a deeply intense and possibly apocalyptic narrative.

Having completed shooting in late April 2025, DIES IRAE is currently in the post-production phase. The team promises a visually immersive and emotionally compelling horror experience that will elevate Indian horror cinema to global standards. Reports suggest the film is designed to resonate strongly with both Indian and international audiences. The film also marks Pranav Mohanlal’s return to the big screen after notable performances in ‘Aadhi’, ‘Hridayam’, and ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’.
