Rajeev Ravi to crank camera for Srikanth Murali’s next directorial

Of late, Srikanth Murali has become a familiar face to the Malayali audience. Though he started his career in cinema as an associate to veteran Priyadarshan, he is now a very busy actor. His performance in films like ‘Action Hero Biju’, ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’ and ‘Kakshi Amminipilla’ were particularly praiseworthy. Even between his acting commitments, Srikanth is still active as a filmmaker by doing ad films frequently.

After making his directorial debut couple of years back with ‘Aby’, Srikanth Murali is now set to make his sophomore film. We hear that his next film will be the based on Kendra Sahitya Akademi award winner PV Shaji Kumar’s popular short story ‘Katha’. Ace cinematographer Rajeev Ravi will be cranking camera for this film.

Details regarding the cast, other crew and when shoot begins are not yet known. An official announcement is expected to be made very soon.
