Rajinikanth appreciates Anushka Shetty for her performance in Bhaagamathie!

Anushka Shetty’s Bhaagamathie was released last week to good response from the audience. The horror comedy directed by Ashok was released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. Anushka’s star power is doing wonders for the movie at the box office. Many critics and celebrities have praised the movie on social medias.

Recently, in an interview, Anushka revealed that none other than superstar Rajinikanth himself had called her after watching the movie. He appreciated her performance and congratulated the team for their success. Anushka said that was the best compliment she had received for Bhaagamathie.

Bhaagamathie is unlike any of the previous template horror flicks in Telugu. The movie comes under the genre of horror comedy and is shot on a big scale involving lot of VFX works. Malayali actor Unni Mukundan is paired opposite Anushka in the movie. Jayaram plays the antagonist and Asha Sarath is also there in a crucial role as a police officer.
