Rajinikanth calls and appreciates Ajith after watching Nerkonda Paarvai

‘Nerkonda Paarvai, the official remake of ‘Pink’ has opened to highly positive response in Tamil Nadu. As per reports from trade experts, the movie has already crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the TN box office and is turning out to be a run away hit. Along with the commercial gains, the movie is also getting appreciation for the relevant issues it addresses quite effectively. Many celebs have come forward praising lead actor Ajith for his decision to take up such an important film.

Superstar Rajinikanth recently got to watch ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’. He was impressed by it and called Ajith to appreciate him. Earlier, actors Suriya and his wife Jyothika had sent flower bouquets as a token of love to Ajith and the movie’s director H Vinoth. It is extremely gratifying to see such graceful camaraderie existing between top stars within an industry.

‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ is produced by Boney Kapoor, husband of late actress Sridevi. Ajith has reprised Amitabh Bachchan’s role from the original. Shraddha Srinath is essaying the role done by Taapsee Pannu. It also marks Bollywood actess Vidya Balan’s debut in Tamil. She had done the role of Ajith’s wife in it. Kalki Koechlin is also making a guest appearance in a song sequence.
