After a long gap our Mega star Mammootty had got a genuine super hit in the form of Bhaskar The Rascal which was helmed by none other than hit maker Siddique and film had hit the screens all over on the Vishu day of this year. The flick had got mixed opinion from the spectators and online medias but in collections it had done really great and it had become the first film in Mammootty’s last 5 years which crossed 10 crore rupees in the box office. South Indian actress Nayanthara had played the female lead in this flick and it was her second association with Siddique and third association with Mammootty as well.

Earlier we had reported the news that this flick is going to be remade in Bollywood as Siddique is planning a film in Bollywood after the success he got through the film named Bodyguard. The sources earlier reported that it may be a remake of one of his films in mollywood like Ladies and Gentleman or Chronic Bachelor. But after the success of Bhaskar The Rascal the report came in that it will be this one which is to be going to be remade in Hindi by Siddique.

Now the report of this film being remade in kollywood is coming and the report claims that super star Rajinikanth to do the lead role in this Tamil version Bhaskar The Rascal. Sources from kollywood says to us that Rajinikanth saw the film recently and he liked it a lot. Then he expressed his wish to act in the remade version of Bhaskar. And famous Tamil producer S S Durairaj had already acquired the Tamil remake right of this flick and he spoke to Rajinikanth about the remake as well. But there is no official confirmation from any side regarding the news coming in about the presence of Rajinikanth in this remake.

Earlier Rajinikanth had expressed his wish to act in the Tamil version of Mohanlal starrer Drishyam in Tamil but it later went to Kamal Haasan. we have to wait and see that whether the super star will come to the screen as Bhaskar in Tamil or not.
