Rajisha Vijayan to share screen space with Suriya

Malayali actress Rajisha Vijayan has had a great start to her career in Tamil cinema with ‘Karnan’. The film had her paired with Dhanush and her performance in it was noteworthy. Post ‘Karnan’, Rajisha has been getting several offers from the Tamil industry and it is learnt that she has signed a couple of them.

‘Kootathil Oruthan’ director TJ Gnanavel is helming a new film in which Rajisha is said to be playing the female lead. Interestingly, Suriya is also part of the film. He will be seen in an extended cameo role as an advocate. The film is a social drama which revolves around a particular tribal community. Details regarding Rajisha’s character are not yet known.

Rajisha has also been signed as one of the female leads in Karthi’s new film ‘Sardar’, directed by PS Mithran. Raashi Khanna is the other female lead. In Malayalam, Rajisha has ‘Ellam Sheriyaakum’ with Asif Ali coming up.
