Rakul Preet Singh to pair opposite Suriya?

Suriya’s latest release Singam 3 aka S3, after setting mixing response from the critics, is doing good business in Tamil Nadu. S3 is the third installment in the popular Singam franchise. The movie directed by Hari, was released amid high expectations but could not live up to that. Lack of novelty in the plot outdated treatment backfired for the movie.

Meanwhile, Suriya is busy shooting for Vignesh Shivan’s Thaana Serntha Kootam. The actor has shed nearly 10 kilos for playing his part in the movie. Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead while supporting actors include Ramya Krishnan, KS Ravikumar, RJ Balaji, Saranya Ponvannan and many other popular faces.

We had earlier told you that Suriya’s next after TSK will be with ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan. This movie will be produced by S R Prabhu and S R Prakash Babu under their banner Dream Warrior Pictures.

Though makers are tight lipped about the project, we hear that Tollywood heartthrob Rakul Preet Singh is being considered to play the female lead in the movie. Despite being one of the leading actresses in Telugu industry, she is yet to make a mark in Tamil. Suriya- Selvaraghavan project will be a perfect comeback for the actress to Kollywood. Rakul is currently busy shooting for AR Murugadoss upcoming movie with superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role.
