Ram remaining portions have to be shot abroad, there’s no other way: Jeethu Joseph

Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph combo’s ‘Ram’ was one of the most anticipated films of the season. Expectations were largely high because it marked their reunion after the massive blockbuster of ‘Drishyam’ and this time, it was a much bigger film in terms of cast and scale. Popular actors like Trisha, Indrajith Sukumaran, Adil Hussain, Durga Krishna and Leona Lishoy are part of the film.

Shoot was progressing as per plans before the Indian government announced total lockdown. As per director Jeethu Joseph, some major portions of the film are set in UK and they have no other option rather than shooting abroad. Due to the current scenario where countries across the world are affected by Covid-19, it would be impossible to shoot abroad. So the makers are thinking about shelving the project briefly before things return back to normalcy.

Meanwhile, Jeethu Joseph will be working on another project that will be shot entirely in Kerala. It remains to be seen how the future of ‘Ram’ turns out to be.
