Release date announced for superstar Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe

The makers of Rajinikanth’s ‘Annaatthe’ have reconfirmed that the film will be hitting screens for this year’s Diwali. They have announced November 4, 2021 as the release date. The makers as well as the industry insiders will be hoping that the pandemic situation gets better by then.

Expectations are high on ‘Annaatthe’ for various reasons. It is Rajinikanth’s first outing with director Siva, whose last film ‘Viswasam’ was a mega blockbuster. The same formulaic approach with prominence to family emotions is said to have been retained for this film as well. Even the core technical team of cinematographer Vetri, music director Imman and editor Ruben are retained. Rajinikanth is also doing a full-fledged rural mass entertainer after very long. There is also a star-studded cast comprising of actors like Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj. All these factors naturally add up to the hype.
