Release date of Unni Mukundan’s Meppadiyan out

It has been announced that the Unni Mukundan starrer ‘Meppadiyan’ will be hitting screens on January 14, 2022. Superstar Mohanlal announced the release date by sharing a new song from the film. Interestingly, Unni himself has sung the track. The actor, who is also producing ‘Meppadiyan’, has pinned high hopes on the film. Sharing his excitement, he wrote in his Facebook page,

Jan 14th, almost a decade back I had given my first shot as an actor and I can’t be any happier to let you all know that this Jan14th, I happily bring to you Meppadiyan, produced Under my banner, UnniMukundanFilms! See you at the theatres!

‘Meppadiyan’ is directed by debutant Vishnu Mohan. The film promises to be a complete family entertainer. Anju Kurian of ‘Jack and Daniel’ fame plays the female lead. ‘Meppadiyaan’ has an elaborate supporting cast comprising of actors like Saiju Kurup, Kottayam Ramesh, Major Ravi, Aju Varghese, Vijay Babu, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Nisha Sarang, Indrans, Kundara Johny, Sreejith Ravi and Pauly Valsan.
