‘Uyare’ continues to garner positive response from commoners, critics and celebrities alike. Director Rosshan Andrrews has showered praise on the movie. He has congratulated director Manu Ashokan, writers Bobby-Sanjay, actors and all other technicians. Rosshan has written in his official Facebook page,

Earlier, other film industry personalities like Sathyan Anthikad, Madhupal, Jude Anthany Joseph, Arun Gopy, Sithara Krishnakumar and politicians VM Sudheeran and KK Shailaja had praised the movie. The Manu Ashokan directorial tells the story of an acid attack survivor. Parvathy plays the lead role in the movie, which also has Asif Ali, Tovino Thomas, Siddique and Anarkali Marakkar in key roles.

‘Uyare’ addressed various relevant issues like beauty misconceptions, toxic relationships, patriarchy and how an acid attack survivor overcomes all obstacles to lead a dignified life. It is an ideally empowering film with plenty of emotions and excellent performances.
