Rosshan Andrrews’ next after Kayamkulam Kochunni is a Mumbai Police style cop-thriller

Rosshan Andrrews is a highly revered filmmaker in Malayalam cinema circles. The director is well known for his films like Udayananu Tharam, Evidam Swargamanu, Mumbai Police and How Old Are You. He has frequently collaborated with writer duo Bobby-Sanjay; their latest being Kayamkulam Kochunni. As per latest reports, the combo is all set to team up once again.

Rosshan Andrrews’ next after Kayamkulam Kochunni will be a cop thriller. Bobby and Sanjay are currently working on the movie’s script. The makers have not yet disclosed about the lead cast or other details regarding the story. In 2013, the same team joined hands for Mumbai Police, which is widely rated as one of the finest cop flicks to have been made in Malayalam cinema.

As Mumbai Police enjoys great fan following among the audience, expectations will naturally be huge for Rosshan-Bobby-Sanjay team’s upcoming movie as well. When the same team is reuniting for a police story, Malayali cinephiles are very much excited about it. An official announcement is expected to be made shortly.

Meanwhile, post-production works for Kayamkulam Kochunni are nearing its final stages. The movie starring Nivin Pauly in the titular role has been made on a budget of Rs 45 crores. Superstar Mohanlal’s presence in an extended cameo role is one of the movie’s major attractions. Kayamkulam Kochunni is slated for a grand Onam release next month.
