RRR all set to storm screens worldwide; Massive opening on cards in Kerala

After several delays and last minute postponing, the SS Rajamouli biggie ‘RRR’ is all set to hit screens this Friday (March 25). Expectations are humungous for this film across the country thanks to the Rajamouli factor and the stellar pre-release promos. The film is releasing simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

In Kerala, Shibu Thameens of Thameens Films is releasing ‘RRR’. With no other big release to compete with, ‘RRR’ is expected to take a huge opening in Kerala. Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ series was lapped unanimously by the Malayali audience, ending up as one of the highest grossing films in the state. ‘RRR’ is also expected to have a similar run.

Starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan as the leads, ‘RRR’ is a fictional take on two freedom fighters Alluri Sita Ramaraju and Jr NTR’s Komaram Bheem joining forces to fight the British. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, and Shriya Saran also star in it.
