Sabumon reveals that he got injured during fight sequence in Ayyappanum Koshiyum!

Sabumon Abdusamad shot to fame after winning the ‘Bigg Boss’ title. After his successful stint in the reality show, Sabumon was offered plum roles in films like ‘Jallikkattu’, ‘Janamaithri’, ‘Thrissur Pooram’. He was last seen in the Biju Menon-Prithviraj starrer ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. He played a grey shaded role named Kuttachan in the film.

One of the highlight scenes in the film is the action sequence featuring Sabumon and Biju Menon. It comes right after the interval block and is the point when Biju Menon’s Ayyappan Nair transforms into the devilish Mundoor Maadan. It is a riveting fight scene in which Ayyappan Nair beats the pulp out of Kuttachan. In a recent Facebook post, Sabumon revealed that he got injured while shooting that scene. He also shared photos of his injured shoulder.

‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ directed by Sachi was a big hit at the box office. The film is set to be remade in Tamil and Telugu languages.
