Saniya Iyappan dubs for The Priest

Post-production works for Mammootty’s ‘The Priest’ are progressing in full swing. The makers have shared photos of actress Saniya Iyappan dubbing for the film. The ‘Queen’ star is said to be playing an important role in it. Written and directed by debutant Jofin T Chacko, ‘The Priest’ is said to be a mystery thriller.

Staying true to the genre, the makers have maintained utmost secrecy regarding the film’s storyline or character details. The film has an elaborate star cast. Manju Warrier and Mammootty are acting together for the first time ever through this film. The cast also includes Nikhila Vimal, Jagadheesh, Ramesh Pisharody, Ameya Mathew, Baby Monica of ‘Kaithi’ fame, ‘Nayika Nayakan’ fame Venkitesh and Tony Luke in supporting roles.

On the technical front, Akhil George is the cinematographer and Shameer Muhammed handles the edits. Composer Rahul Raj is currently working on the background score. The film is jointly produced by Anto Joseph, B Unnikrishnan and VN Babu.
