Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and Akshay Kumar starrer Atrangi Re wrapped up

‘Atrangi Re’ is an upcoming multi-starrer Hindi film directed by Aanand L Rai. Dhanush, Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan play the lead roles in the film. After a 1-year-long shoot that saw various breaks, the makers have finally called it a wrap.

Both Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan have shared photos in their social media handle to inform about the completion of shoot. Sara has also thanked director Anand K Rai for the opportunity and her colleagues Dhanush and Akshay Kumar for being such great co-stars. She has written,

Couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this journey and yes thank you for introducing me to your amazing music and mouth watering varieties of South Indian food (even though we could’ve avoided that indulgence during shoot )

‘Atrangi Re’ is scripted by National award winner Himanshu Sharma. Dhanush is said to be playing a Tamilian’s role in the film. Apart from playing one of the leads, the star has also sung a track under AR Rahman’s composition. Pankaj Kumar is the cinematographer and Hemal Kothari handles the edits. T-Series, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films are jointly producing the film. The makers have announced that the film will be hitting screens on August 6, 2021.
