Second Poster of Oru Vadakkan Therottam Unveiled; Dhyan Sreenivasan Leads a Promising Family Entertainer

The second poster of Oru Vadakkan Therottam, directed by Binun Raj and starring Dhyan Sreenivasan, has been officially released. The poster features Dhyan along with a group of auto-rickshaw drivers gathered around a mobile phone, capturing the essence of everyday working-class camaraderie. Shared on social media by the director with the caption “Puthiya Koottu, Puthiya Route”, the poster hints at a refreshing and grounded family entertainer—seemingly a departure from Dhyan’s usual filmography.

Produced under the banner of Open Art Creations, the film marks Binun Raj’s return to direction after Nithya Haritha Nayakan. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are penned by newcomer Sanu Ashok. Alongside Dhyan, the film introduces newcomer Dilna Ramakrishnan as the female lead, with an ensemble cast including Malavika Menon, Sudheer Paravoor, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Salim Hasan, Vijayakumar, Dileep Menon, Kozhikode Narayanan Nair, Dinesh Panicker, and actors from other industries like Anand (Telugu) and Raj Kapoor (Tamil).

Cinematography is handled by Pavi K Pavan, editing by Jithin D K, and music is composed by the duo Berny & Tansen (Berny Ignatius), with Navneeth scoring the background music. The film has been shot across various locations including Kozhikode, Vadakara, Onchiyam, Edacheri, Eramala, Iringannur, Chorode, and Ottapalam. Oru Vadakkan Therottam will soon hit theatres, distributed by the leading banner Dream Big Films.
