Seethakaathi: Check out this stunning first look of Vijay Sethupathi’s 25th movie!

Tamil cinema’s much loved actor Vijay Sethupathi is turning 40 today. Birthday wishes are flowing in for the actor from all parts of the world. He is probably the busiest actor in K-Town at present with around seven projects in his kitty. One of the most exciting among them is Seethakaathi, directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan. It is the actor’s 25th film, so expectations are high among the audience.

The official first look poster of Seethakathi was released today midnight through Twitter. This stunning poster features Vijay Sethupathi as an old man in a black and white background. The actor is nearly unrecognizable in this look all thanks to the amazing prosthetic works. In the movie, he will be seen in three different age groups – that of a 75, 50 and 30-year-old.

Greg Cannon, a renowned make-up artist from Los Angeles has been roped in to work on Vijay Sethupathi’s three different looks. Greg is a three time Oscar award winner; some of his best known works include Mrs. Doubtfire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Dracula and the Hindi film Fan.

Seethakaathi marks the reunion of Vijay Sethupathi with director Balaji Tharaneetharan after the comic caper Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom. This upcoming movie also stars Parvathy, Remya Nambeesan, Gayathrie and Mahendran. Govind Menon of Thaikkudam Bridge is handling the music department. It is being produced jointly by Sudhan Sundaram, Umesh, Jayaram and Arun Vaidyanathan under the banner of Passion Studios.
