Selfie Pulla song from Vijay film Kaththi went Viral in Romania

Vijay starrer latest film Theri has been making waves in worldwide box office and the actor is back on the success track after the failure of Puli. Along with that he is in news again after one of the song sung by him for the film named Kaththi directed by AR Murugados is going viral in Romania.

The song was the popular number Selfie Pulla. Kaththi was released in 2014. But there is a twist in the tale as the popularity of this song had come from all the wrong reasons in Romania. The lyric of the song had done the trick here.

The Tamil lyric of the song cannot be perceived with its full meaning by non-tamilians, but the chorus part of the song is in English except from one word. It is “Let’s take a Selfie Pulla”, in which the Pulla is the only Tamil word in it. When it is translated to English it means “Let’s take a selfie girl”. But unfortunately in Romanian language, the word Pula means Penis and they understood the lyric in a wrong way.

Thus for the wrong reason, the song become popular there and now it has more than 7.97 million viewers in YouTube. The comment section was crowded with comments from Romanian people who went crazy over this song.
