Selvaraghavan in talks to play the antagonist in Thalapathy 65?

Vijay’s upcoming film with director Nelson Dilipkumar (Thalapathy 65) is getting bigger day by day with new additions in the cast. Latest buzz is that Selvaraghavan is being considered to play the antagonist’s role in the film. Though the makers are yet to confirm it, fans are already excited about seeing Selvaraghavan and Vijay pitted against each other.

The ace filmmaker who is well-known for helming films like ‘Pudhupettai’, ‘Mayakkam Enna’ and ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ is making his acting debut soon with ‘Saani Kaayidham’. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, it is an intense crime thriller that stars Keerthy Suresh as the other lead.

‘Thalapathy ’65’ is said to be a big-budget action thriller in which Vijay plays a con-agent. Pooja Hegde of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo’ fame plays the female lead. Malayali actors Shine Tom Chacko and Aparna Das are also confirmed in the cast. The film’s shoot had begun last month in Georgia but the makers had to stop works and return back home due to the second wave of pandemic.
