Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan Reunite? Main Hoon Na 2 in Development at Red Chillies

Bollywood’s beloved duo, Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan, may reunite for Main Hoon Na 2! According to sources, the sequel to the 2004 blockbuster is currently in development at Red Chillies Entertainment, with Farah actively working on the script.

Main Hoon Na was the first production under Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies banner, making it a special film for the superstar. Reports suggest that Farah has pitched an idea for the sequel, and SRK is keen on exploring the project. However, he is adamant about not making a sequel just for nostalgia. He has asked Farah and the Red Chillies writing team to develop a compelling screenplay that can surpass the impact of the original. The first draft is expected to be ready by mid-2025, after which SRK will make a final decision.

If greenlit, Main Hoon Na 2 will mark Shah Rukh and Farah’s fourth collaboration after Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, and Happy New Year. Meanwhile, SRK is currently gearing up for King with Siddharth Anand, slated for a 2026 release, and Pathaan 2, which is in the writing stage.
