Shah Rukh Khan to make a cameo appearance in a song in Vijay’s Bigil

Vijay-Atlee team’s ‘Bigil’ is easily the most anticipated Tamil film of this year. Fans as well as the common audience have pinned huge expectations on the movie. It has Vijay in a dual role as a gangster father and his football player son. It is said to be an action-packed mass entertainer with women’s football at its crux.

Recently there were rumours about the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan starring in the movie. It is now reported that the makers have approached SRK to make a special appearance in a dance sequel along with Vijay. The news regarding SRK agreeing to be part of the film is yet to be officially confirmed but fans of both the stars are already very excited.

‘Bigil’ marks Vijay third film with director Atlee after the blockbuster success of ‘Theri’ and ‘Mersal’. The movie has quite a big star cast. Nayanthara is paired with Vijay. Veteran Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Vivek, Induja, Varsha Bollamma and Reba Monica John, Daniel Balaji and Anand Raj will be seen in supporting roles.

AR Rahman has scored music for the movie and cinematography is by ‘Mersal’ fame GK Vishnu. The movie is scheduled for a grand Diwali release in October.
