Shamna Kasim joins Mohanlal-Suriya starrer Kaappaan

‘Kaappaan’ is currently in the final stages of shoot. The movie directed by KV Anand has a star-studded cast lead by Suriya and Mohanlal. Arya, Sayyeshaa, Boman Irani and Samuthirakani are also playing crucial roles in the movie. Latest to join the cast is Shamna Kasim aka Poorna. A location still of the actress with Suirya is currently doing the rounds in social medias.

‘Kaappaan’ is s touted to be an action packed thriller. The movie has Mohanlal playing the Indian Prime Minister’s role while Suriya will be seen as a high-rank National Security Guard (NSG) officer, who is in charge of the PM’s security. Mohanlal and Suriya had shot together for their combination scenes in London, Chennai and in several locations in North India. The former has already finished shooting for his portions.

‘Kaappaan’ has cinematography handled by MS Prabhu and music by Harris Jayaraj. Lyca Productions is backing this big budget flick. Reports suggest that the makers are planning to release the movie for Independence day on August 15.
