Shocking !! Producer Sophia Paul to file case against Mohanlal fans

Mohanlal’s latest release Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is doing great business in all the release centres. The movie released on January 20 has already collected above 30 crores.

Meanwhile, producer of the movie Sophia Paul has decided to file case against some Mohanlal fans who allegedly have been abusing her and her son Kevin Paul. Some of them have spewed abuses in their Facebook walls and through personal messages for not publicising the movie. From their part, the fans accuse that even after the movie becoming such a big success, the makers have failed to print new posters.

Sophia Paul who is currently in Dubai has decided to file a case against some Mohanlal fans for personally abusing her and their production house.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is written by M Sindhuraj and directed by Vellimoonga fame Jibu Jacob. Sophia Paul’s Weekend Blockbusters have bankrolled this movie. Mohanlal and Meena have played the lead roles in the movie.

Though the movie was initially scheduled to release for Christmas, it got postponed due to the cinema strike. Both the director and producer had expressed their disappointment over the loss of a theatrical release during the Christmas holiday season.

Upon release, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol garnered unanimous appreciation from the critics and the general audience. Families have taken a particular liking for the movie which revolves around a middle aged couple who rediscover their lost love from the boredom of their routine life.
