Shoot for Mammootty-Amal Neerad film Bheeshma Parvam resumes

After a break caused by the lockdown and worsening pandemic situation, the makers of ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ have resumed shoot in Ernakulam. Directed by Amal Neerad, the film has Mammootty playing the lead character. It is a hugely hyped film as the actor-director duo are teaming up after a 14-year-long gap. Their last film ‘Big B’ has a cult status among Malayalam movie lovers.

‘Bheeshma Parvam’ is said to be a gangster flick in which Mammootty plays a larger-than-life mass character. Newcomer Devadath Shaji has scripted the film along with Amal Neerad. The cast includes Soubin Shahir, Farhaan Faasil, ‘Kettyolaan Ente Malakha’ fame Veena Nandakumar, Shine Tom Chacko, Sreenath Bhasi, Nadiya Moidu, ‘Rangasthalam’ fame Anasuya, Maala Parvathy and Lena.

Anend C Chandran of ‘Neram’ and ‘Premam’ fame is the cinematographer and music is by Sushin Shyam. Amal Neerad is producing the film under his banner, Amal Neerad Productions. The makers are expected to wrap up the remaining portions in quick time.
