Shoot resumes for Suresh Gopi starrer Kaaval

After a long pandemic-induced break, the makers of ‘Kaaval’ have resumed shoot. Director Nithin Renji Panicker took to his social media handle to share a photo taken with Suresh Gopi from the sets today. ‘Kaaval’ is a highly anticipated film as it marks the veteran star’s comeback to mass genre after a very long gap. The film is basically an action-packed family drama.

Suresh Gopi plays a character named Thamban. Along with him, Renji Panicker will also be seen in a full-length character. The story is set in the high ranges of Idukki and spans across different timelines. The film has an elaborate cast comprising of Zaya David, Alencier Ley Lopez, IM Vijayan, Sujith Shankar, Kichu Tellus, Binu Pappu, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Muthumani, Pathamaraj Ratheesh and many others.

National award winner Nikhil S Praveen is the cinematographer, Mansoor Muthutty is the editor and Ranjin Raj of ‘Joseph’ fame handles the music department. Joby George of Goodwill Entertainments is producing the film.
