Shoot wrapped up for superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar

Superstar Rajinikanth had been working continuously for his new film ‘Darbar’ for the last few months. Shoot finally got wrapped up last day in Mumbai. Written and directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is touted to be an action-packed mass entertainer. Nayanthara is paired with Rajinikanth and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty plays the villain role.

‘Darbar’ has Rajinikanth as a Mumbai based IPS officer. Wearing the khakis, the 68-year-old star looks fit as ever in the photos shared from the film’s sets. This is his first cop role in nearly two decades and fans are highly excited about it.

‘Darbar’ cast also includes Prateik Babbar, Nivetha Thomas, Sriman, Yogi Babu and many others are part of the cast. The film also has a strong technical crew headlined by ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan, composer Anirudh Ravichander and veteran editor Sreekar Prasad. Ram-Laxman duo is choreographing the stunts.

Lyca Productions is producing ‘Darbar’, which has been slated for a Pongal release, next January.
