Siddique to amaze once again with diverse roles in Tamil and Malayalam

One of the most versatile actors in the Malayalam film industry, Siddique after a gap is foraying into the Tamil cinema. He is playing a pivotal character in the Tamil verison of Malayalam blockbuster Bhaskar the Rascal, titled as Baskar Oru Rascal. The movie, directed by Malayali filmmaker Siddique will have Aravind Swamy and Amala Paul reprising Mammootty and Nayanthara’s roles from the original.

Veteran actor Siddique has this gifted ability to pull off diverse roles with elan. The flexibility and range he possess can give any younger generation actor a run for their money. He can be an evil villain in one movie, a hero in another, a hilarious comedian with an amazing timing and a senior character artist.

This year he is also playing a prominent role in the upcoming Malayalam movie Captain, which is a biopic on late footballer VP Sathyan’s life. Siddique as always is sporting a new look for the movie. Captain, directed by debutant Prajesh Sen stars Jayasurya and Anu Sithara in the lead roles.
