Sivakarthikeyan–Samantha pair to play the lead in upcoming Ponram movie

Ponram and Sivakarthikeyan is now one of the most successful director-actor pair in Kollywood. Their first association was for a film named Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and the success of that movie had really gave a boost in the career of Sivakarthikeyan in the initial stages of his entry to Kollywood. Later they joined together for a movie named Rajini Murugan which released this year. It also become a super box office success and the success of Rajini Murugan had made Sivakarthikeyan, one of the most bankable young star in Kollywood box office.

Now, this pair is joining for their 3rd movie and popular South Indian Actress Samantha will play the female lead in this upcoming movie. This flick will be bankrolled by RD Raja and under the banner of 24 AM Studios and it will be the 4th production venture of RD Raja under this banner. His first production venture is Remo from Sivakarthikeyan-Keerthy Suresh-Bhagya Raj Kannan team. It will release all over on 7th October this year.

His second production venture will be Sivakarthikeyan- Fahad Fazil-Mohan Raja project, which will start rolling soon. Then comes his 3rd venture under this banner and it will be a Nivin Pauly-Prabhu Radhakrishnan movie and the screenplay of this movie will be written by RD Raja himself.

Sri Divya and Keerthy Suresh had played the female leads in Ponram- Sivakarthikeyam team’s earlier movies like Varuthappedatha Valibar Sangham and Rajni Murugan respectively. Now, the inclusion of Samantha had made the 3rd project from this team a big one indeed.
