Soorarai Pottru first look released date announced

Suriya’s ‘Soorarai Pottru’ is eagerly awaited by many, including the actor’s fans as well as cine lovers. The film is being directed by Sudha Kongara of ‘Irudhi Suttru’ fame. Last day, on the occasion of Diwali, the makers avar announced that the first look poster will be out on November 10. Shoot has already been completed and post-production works are currently progressing at a brisk pace. The film is most likely to be a Pongal release, in January next year.

‘Soorarai Pottru is loosely based on the life of GR Gopinath, the founder of Air Deccan, who is also a retired captain of the Indian army. Sudha Kongara and Shalini Usha Nair have jointly scripted the film. Malayali actress Aparna Balamurali plays the female lead. Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff and Mohan Babu will also be seen in prominent roles.

The film has cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy, music composed by GV Prakash and stunts handled by Hollywood based action choreographer Greg Powell.
