Soubin-Nimisha starrer Jinn will be a suspense filled family drama

Actor-turned-filmmaker Sidharth Bharathan’s next directorial was announced recently. The film titled as ‘Jinn’ will have last year’s Kerala State award winners Soubin Shahir and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles. It is scripted by Rajesh Gopinadhan, who was also the writer of Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘Kali’.

According to the makers, ‘Jinn’ is an entertainer that has family drama and suspense. It is a racy film centered around the two lead characters played by Soubin Shahir and Nimisha Sajayan. The movie has a very promising technical crew. Girish Gangadharan is the cinematographer and music department will be handled by Prashant Pillai. Bavan Sreekumar is the editor. It is being produced under the banner of D14 Entertainments. Shoot is planned to commence by the end of July.

Meanwhile, Soubin and Nimisha have multiple projects coming up. Soubin is currently in Russia shooting for his new film ‘Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25’, directed by debutant Ratheesh Balakrishnan. He is also playing the lead role in Bhadran’s ‘Joothan’ and John Paul George’s ‘Ambili’.

Likewise, Nimisha has her kitty full with several interesting projects lined up like Rajeev Ravi’s ‘Thuramukham’, Vidhu Vincent’s ‘Stand Up’, PT Kunju Muhammed’s ‘Bahar’ and Lal Jose’s ‘Nalpathiyonnu’.
