Soubin Shahir is one of the most talented actors in India: Santosh Sivan

Santosh Sivan’s new film ‘Jack and Jill’ has been on the floors for some time now. The movie has Kalidas Jayaram and Manju Warrier in the lead roles. Shoot for the movie commenced last October and Manju has already wrapped up her portions. After a brief gap, the team resumed shoot only recently.

Soubin Shahir has now joined the sets. Last day, Santosh Sivan took to his social media handle to share Soubin’s look in the movie. The veteran also rates Soubin as one of the most talented, co-operative and hard working actors in the country. That’s quite a big compliment for Soubin as Santosh Sivan is one of the most revered personalities in the Indian film industry with a vast experience of over three long decades.

‘Jack and Jill’ is shaping up as a quikry sci-fi flick. It is a genre that has not much been explored in Malayalam. With someone like Santosh Sivan at helm, the audience can expect to see some real quality stuff. The movie’s cast also includes Nedumudi Venu, Aju Varghese, Soubin Shahir, Basil Joseph, Ramesh Pisharody and Suraj Venjaramoodu.

A Dubai based company, Lensman Studios, is producing the movie.
