Premam is still in news in south Indian film industry. The Alphonse Puthren directorial Nivin Pauly starrer was really one of the most discussed south Indian film of this year. The great success it had acquired and later the censor copy issue had made it the news headline of many Medias for many days. The success of the film was attributed to the direction of Alphonse Puthren, the market value of Nivin Pauly and the waves made by the lead heroines of the film as well. Actresses like Anupama Parameshwaran, Sai Pallavi, and Madonna Sebastain made their debut in film industry ever memorable with the performance in the film.

Among that Sai Pallavi is the one who made more impact as the character named Malar in the film and without doubt we can say that the influence of that character is one of the key factors that made the film a fabulous success in the box office. So when the news of its remake to other languages came on, everyone wants to know one thing that who will play the character of Malar in the remake of the film. The Telugu remake version is all set to start rolling and it will be Sruthi Haasan who will play the character of Malar in the Telugu remake of the film.

The Telugu version of the film is titled as Majnu and the male lead of the film will be young star Naga Chaithanya. He is very popular there as one of the talented young actors and also as the son of Telugu super star Nagarjuna. Chandoo Mondeti is all set to direct the Telugu version of Premam. Even though the title Majnu is spreading as the name of Telugu version of the film, it is not officially declared as well.

As per sources Anupama Parameswarn will reprise the role she done in Premam in Telugu version as well. Disha Pattani is the other heroine of the film as per reports and she will play the character named Celin played by Madonna Sebastian in the Malayalam version. Anyway official confirmation about all this will come soon hopefully.
