Sudev Nair shares his transformation pics for Thuramukham

The teaser of Rajeev Ravi’s much-anticipated film ‘Thuramukham’ got released online last day. It is a period film based on the historic protests against the inhuman ‘chappa’ system that existed during the 1940s wherein copper coins were thrown at waiting workers in a primitive work guarantee scheme.

From the teaser, it is presumed that Nivin Pauly plays a rebel who stands up against the inhuman practice. Sudev Nair essays the antagonist’s role. The actor had put on 11 kilos for playing the character in ‘Thuramukham’. He has shared photos of his transformation in his Instagram handle. Along with the photos, he has written,

Sudev Nair is noted for his roles in films like ‘Anarkali’, ‘Ezra’, ‘Mamangam’ etc. Despite being a State award winning actor, only been very few films have explored his true potential. It remains to be seen if he has a meaty role to perform in ‘Thuramukham’. The film also stars Indrajith Sukumaran, Arjun Ashokan, Nimisha Sajayan, Poornima Indrajith, Darshana Rajendran and Manikandan Achari.
