Sufiyum Sujathayum will possibly be our best film till date: Vijay Babu

Last day we had reported about Jayasurya and Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari coming together for a musical love story. The film has been titled as ‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’ and it will be directed by debutant Naranipuzha Shanavas. Vijay Babu of Friday Film House is producing the film, shoot which is scheduled to begin on September 20.

‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’ has been scripted by director Naranipuzha Shanavas himself. He is the twelfth director to be introduced by Friday Film House. Vijay Babu has pinned high hopes this film. He believes that ‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’ has the potential to be the best film to be produced by his banner.

Announcing the film by sharing the title poster through his social media handle, Vijay Babu has written,

It has a wonderful script . A good writer / director ( our 12th introduction ) . The best music director , highly talented DOP & editor along with a super team .
Aditi Rao Hydari will play “Sujata”. Rest all surprises . Shoot starts on 20th .

‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’ is Aditi Rao’s second film in Malayalam. Her acting debut was in Malayalam with the Mammootty starrer ‘Prajapathi’, which got released back in 2006. She is popular for her roles in films like ‘Murder 3’, ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ and ‘Padmaavat’.

‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’ also stars Siddique, Hareesh Kanaran, Vijay Babu, Mamukkoya, Manikandan Pattambi, Kalaranjini and ‘Thamaasha’ fame Navas Vallikkunnu in supporting roles. ‘Athiran’ fame Anu Moothedath has been signed as the cinematographer, Deepu Joseph as the editor and veteran M Jayachandran for handling the music department.
