Sunday Holiday director Jis Joy’s next to be announced on March 1

Jis Joy has established himself as a bankable filmmaker with both his movies, Bicycle Thieves and Sunday Holiday, emerging successful at the box office. Both the movies had Asif Ali in the lead role. While Bicycle Thieves was an average grosser, Sunday Holiday, released last year, was a superhit success.

Sunday Holiday was one of the biggest hits in Mollywood last year. The movie enjoyed a theatrical run of over 100 days in a good number of centres. A grand success party has been planned to be held in Muscat on March 1. On the occasion, director Lal Jose will also be announcing details regarding Jis Joy’s next project.

Though reports are doing the rounds in social medias about Jis Joy teaming up with Kunchacko Boban, it has not yet been confirmed by either of them. While Bicycle Thieves was a thriller, Sunday Holiday was a fun feel-good entertainer. So, it will be interesting to see what the director has come up with for his upcoming movie.
