Sunny Wayne’s Alamara release date confirmed

Sunny Wayne’s upcoming movie directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas is gearing up for release. The makers have officially announce that the movie will hit screens on March 17, Friday.

Story for Alamara is written by debutant Mahesh Gopal while John Manthrikkal, who has earlier worked with Midhun Manuel Thomas in his last venture Ann Maria Kalipilanu, has written the screenplay.

The movie will be a clean comedy entertainer similar to Midhun Manuel’s earlier movies like Om Shanti Oshana, which he scripted, Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyanu and Ann Maria Kalippilannu. Alamara centres around a newly wed couple and an almirah they receive from the bride’s side, as part of the tradition.

Sunny Wayne and model turned actress Aditi Ravi are playing the lead roles in the movie. Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese, Saiju Kurup, Kammatipadam fame Manikandan Achari, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Indrans and Sudhi Koppa also feature in supporting roles.

This is Sunny Wayne’s third movie with Midhun Manuel Thomas. They have previously worked together in
Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyanu and Ann Maria Kalippilannu. The latter was a commercial success that won appreciation for Sunny Wayne for his performance as Poombatta Girish.

Alamara is produced under the banner of Full On Studios. Satheesh Kurup is cranking the camera while Sooraj S Kurup is handling the music department for the film. Lijo Paul is the editor.
