Sunny Wayne thanks Vanitha for awarding Vinayakan

Last year, Malayalam cinema witnessed many terrific performances, but the stand out among them was Vinayakan’s in Kammatipaadam. The actor simply owned the movie with his stunning performance as Ganga.

Ganga was not a cake walk role. It was a very complex character that had many shades to it and it demanded someone who could get into the skin. Vinayakan’s portrayal of Ganga undoubtedly one of the finest by any Mollywood actor in recent times. Unfortunately, the actor did not get the due recognition in some channel awards which prompted social media to raise their voices against the injustice to Vinayakan.

Vinayakan has finally won an award in the special performance category in the recently announced Cera Vanitha Awards. Not only the audience, industry insiders were also wanted him to win a well deserved award. That was evident from actor Sunny Wayne’s recent post in his Facebook page.

The post reads,

“The moment we all waited for …. and finally …. so happy for u vinayakan Chettan…. and thanks to Vanitha awards”

It is really appreciable from Sunny Wayne’s part to acknowledge another actor without any sort of ego or starry airs.

After his stunning performance in Kammatipadam, Vinayakan will be next seen in Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming movie Role Models directed by Rafi. He has also bagged a plum role in Ordinary fame Sugeeth’s next movie that has Kunchacko Boban in the lead.
