Suraj Venjaramoodu’s Roy starts rolling!

Suraj Venjaramoodu’s new film titled ‘Roy’ has gone in floors. It is written and directed by Sunil Ibrahim, who has previously made films like ‘Arikil Oraal’, ‘Chapters’ and ‘Y’. Along with Suraj, the cast also includes Shine Tom Chacko, Sija Rose, Jins Baskar and many others. The team will be shooting following all the safety protocols. 80% of the film will be shot indoors, in Kochi, and the remaining portions will be filmed in a controlled environment.

‘Roy’ comes with the tagline, Realities of Yesterday. The movie is a family-oriented thriller centered around a couple. The titular character Roy essayed by Suraj Venjaramoodu is an introvert, a bit strange and silent and his wife has a different perspective about life. The story revolves around their peculiar relationship and the incidents that take place in their life.

The film has cinematography by Jayesh Mohan of ‘Mayaanadhi’ fame. V Saajan is in charge of the edits and music will be film by Munna PM. Sajeesh Manjeri and Sanoob K Yousef are jointly producing the film.
