Suresh Gopi’s next is an action-packed family drama!

Suresh Gopi has been out of action in Malayalam nearly four years now. The veteran star is now set to stage a comeback and he is trying to make it a memorable one. He has already started shooting for Sathyan Anthikad’s son Anoop Sathyan’s debut film that also stars Shobhana, Dulquer Salmaan and Kalyani Priyadarshan. Another film getting ready for Suresh Gopi is with Nithin Renji Panicker of ‘Kasaba’ fame.

The director was supposed to helm the sequel of Suresh Gopi’s yesteryear blockbuster ‘Lelam’. However, the project has now been shelved and instead the two will now be teaming up for a fresh subject. Nithin himself has scripted the film which has been conceived as an action-packed family drama. The story set in the high ranges of Idukki spans across two different timelines.

Along with Suresh Gopi, the film will also see Lal in a major role. Others in the cast include Alencier Ley, IM Vijayan, Sujith Shankar, Kichu Tellus, Binu Pappu, Muthumani and Pathamaraj Ratheesh. On the technical front, National award winner Nikhil S Praveen, noted for his work in Jayaraj’s highly acclaimed films ‘Bhayanakam’, will be cranking the camera. Music department will be handled by Ranjin Raj of ‘Joseph’ fame.

Joby George of Goodwill Entertainments is producing the film.
