Suriya 40: Suriya starts shooting for his next with Pandiraj

Suriya has finally joined the sets of his new film with director Pandiraj. Though the film was launched last month, Suriya could not join the sets as he was still recovering from Covid-19 infection. Just a while back, he took to his Twitter handle to share of a photo from the sets. In this silhouette pic, he is seen holding a gun. He also added that it feels good to be back on sets.

Tentatively titled as ‘Suriya 40’, the film is produced by Sun Pictures. Touted to be a mass entertainer, the film has an elaborate star cast. Priyanka Arul Mohan of ‘Gang Leader’ fame plays the female lead. The makers have signed Vinay of ‘Unnale Unnale’ fame as the antagonist. Raj Kiran, Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Jayaprakash, Ilavarasan, Devadarshini, Subbu Panchu Arunachalam and ‘Vada Chennai’ fame Saran will be seen in supporting roles.

On the technical front, the film has Rathnavelu as the cinematographer and D Imman as the composer. Ruben handles the edits and AnbAriv duo is choreographing the stunts.
