Suriya announces his next with Bala

Actor Suriya has announced his new film with National-award winning filmmaker Bala. It is their third film together after ‘Nandha’ and ‘Pithamagan’. Suriya had also made a cameo appearance in the director’s 2011 film ‘Avan Ivan’.

Suriya considers Bala as his true mentor. It is his role in ‘Nandha’ that established him as a serious performer. Announcing their new project through his Twitter handle, Suriya wrote that it was Bala’s faith in him that gave him a new identity and introduced him to a new world. The actor sounded excited about their reunion as he shared a photo taken with his father Sivakumar and Bala. More details regarding the project are awaited.

The ‘Soorarai Pottru’ actor is currently waiting for the release of ‘Jai Bhim’. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film has Suriya playing an advocate’s role for the first time in his career. It is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 2.

Suriya has also completed the shoot of ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ directed by Pandiraj. He also has ‘Vaadivaasal’ with Vetrimaaran coming up.
