Suriya appreciates Antony Varghese for his performance in Angamaly Diaries!

As we all know, Suriya was recently in Kerala to attend the 25th anniversary event of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). The actor was personally invited to be the chief guests by superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty. Suriya had a good time during the event catching up with all the Malayali artists. Most of the actors greeted him and took selfies with him.

When Antony Varghese, the new kid on the block, went to talk to Suriya, the latter recognized him and praised him for his performance in Angamaly Diaries. Suriya also appreciated Chemban Vinod Jose, the writer of Angamaly Diaries, for coming up with such an unique film. It is indeed a proud moment for team Angamaly Diaries to get a word of appreciation from an actor of such great stature like Suriya.

Angamaly Diaries directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery was a huge success, both critically and commercially. Upon its release last year, many leading critics and filmmakers from across the country had showered praise on the team behind it. The movie was talked about nationally for its spectacular making style and spendid performances from 80 odd newcomers.
